Experiment

Simulates 1 to N trials (10-10000)

About This Experiment

Small sample sizes can be misleading. Flip a coin 10 times and you might get 30% or 80% heads. But flip it 10,000 times and the frequency will be very close to 50%.

Choose a distribution, set the number of trials, and watch observed frequencies converge to expected values as sample size grows.

  • Fair coin — converges to 50%
  • Weighted coin — converges to the chosen probability p
  • Die (d6) — each face converges to ~16.7%
